About Avnet Ultra96-V2 :

The Ultra96-V2 is Arm-based, Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC single board.?It boots from the provided Delkin 16 GB microSD card.?Users can connect to this board via webserver using integrated Wireless AP (Access Point)?with support of WiFi/Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). It also supports Linux OS with Matchbox desktop environment.?It supports LPDDR4 memory which offers 2 GB RAM in 512M x 32 configuration.? It supports various ports viz. USB 2.0, USB 3.0, DisplayPort, Xilinx MPSoC primary clock input ?etc.

What is FSBL and DTS/DTB in Linux ?

* FSBL (First Stage Bootloader) for Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC configures FPGA with hardware bitstream?and loads image from non-volatile memory (such as NAND/SD/eMMC/QSPI) to DDR/TCM/OCM Memory. Images can be OS (Operating System) image or Standalone image or 2nd Stage Boot Loader.?

* Hardware vendors supply their own Device Tree Source (DTS) files, which are compiled into the Device Tree Blob (DTB) file using the Device Tree Compiler.?These files are then used by the bootloader.?The DTB file contains a binary-formatted flattened device tree.
