Frustrated with fundraising???
Ah, the glamorous life of a non-profit fundraiser. Here are the top three "joys" we get to experience:
1?? Donor Fatigue: Because nothing says fun like trying to stand out in a sea of endless requests for donations. Donors are just thrilled to hear from us again and again. It's like playing a never-ending game of "How many times can we ask before they block our number?"
2?? Resource Constraints: Who needs a budget anyway? Planning events and campaigns with the resources of a shoestring budget is what keeps us on our toes. It’s amazing what you can do with duct tape, a couple of paperclips, and sheer willpower. Creativity thrives under pressure, right?
3?? Balancing Immediate Needs with Long-Term Goals: Juggling today’s crises while plotting world domination for the future? Piece of cake. It’s not like there's any stress involved in trying to make sure the organization survives the week while also ensuring it’s still around in 10 years.
Despite these delightful challenges, our passion for making a difference keeps us going. Fundraisers, what are some of your biggest "joys" and how do you manage to keep smiling through it all? Let’s swap war stories and survival tips! ????

Resource constraints is one of the challenges I have noticed routinely wears down a team, and is a large part of Donor Fatigue and can be a large contributing factor when there is an imbalance of current needs (keeping the doors open and lights on) and long-term sustainable strategic success!
