￡4million of fruit and veg for 400 schools? Yes peas!??

We really want to make every day a little better (and healthier) for children in the UK. And according to research, only 12% aged between 11-18 are getting their daily recommended intake of fruit and veg. So, we’ve partnered with the British Nutrition Foundation to develop Tesco Fruit & Veg for Schools as a way of helping thousands of kids get their five-a-day.??

All 400 schools taking part in the scheme – which have a higher-than-average free school meal percentage – will be able to shop for their fruit and veg in local Tesco stores.
