  • The Wage Disparity: The persistent gender pay gap continues to be a discouraging concern in an era characterized by advancements and innovation. Despite recent advancements, its repercussions on society and individuals persist, frequently going unnoticed.
  • Effects on Women: During periods of extreme weather, women are particularly burdened with domestic and caregiving duties, which contributes to an increase in unpaid labour.
  • The Economic Consequences: The provision of equitable wages has the potential to stimulate consumer spending and household income, thereby fostering a robust economy. Yet, working mothers residing in rural regions continue to face obstacles, despite frequently assuming the role of the main provider of income.

Festive Glows and Thankful Hearts: Our Celebration Recap

In the spirit of this Festive season, we recently had the pleasure of hosting a one-day stall at Frost & Sullivan, Chennai, where we enjoyed the delectable offerings of "Thank U Foods," an initiative by the Indian Association for the Blind (IAB). This event not only satiated our sweet cravings but also embodied the essence of inclusion, gratitude, and giving back. In conjunction with the Indian Association for the Blind, we also distributed specially curated gift hampers to our dedicated housekeeping staff this Thanksgiving. These hampers included an assortment of delightful cookies and sweets made by the incredible individuals from IAB. Our partnership with the Indian Association for the Blind allowed us to support a meaningful cause and, at the same time, express our heartfelt gratitude to the diligent individuals who play an invaluable role in maintaining our workplace at its finest.
