The Global Food Supply Chain is Broken?
Food waste is a global issue, affecting people worldwide. To achieve hunger elimination by 2030, a strong global collective effort is needed. Developed and developing nations waste food differently due to inefficient production, poor storage, and inaccessible transportation. Consumers and retailers in developed countries discard most food at the end of the consumption cycle. To achieve "zero hunger" by 2030, our current food appearance and labels must change. Innovative legislation in France and Spain has forced food producers and retailers to partner with charities and food banks. A public-private partnership and a food mindset shift are needed to reduce hunger and food waste. Find out more here!

Supporting Rural Education: Distribution of DeskIT school bags to students in rural areas
The Frost & Sullivan Institute, in collaboration with Santhwana Trust, extended their support to improve access to quality education in rural areas of Chennai and Bangalore, India. Government schools in these regions struggle with meagre funding and basic infrastructure, forcing students to write with their notebooks on the floor, resulting in posture and spine-related issues. To address this, the institute together with Santhwana Trust distributed DeskIT school bags, which can be transformed into flexible desks, to 337 students across eight schools. The bags have not only remedied the posture and comfort issues faced by students but have also remarkably enhanced their overall classroom experience. This initiative serves as a testament to how partnerships and innovative solutions can positively impact education and the well-being of young learners in underserved areas.
