Front End Developer -UK Based remote

FRONT END DEVELOPER

FULLY REMOTE - UK BASED ONLY

We have an exciting new position available for a mid to senior Front End Developer, with some PHP experience to join the current Development team of an established forward thinking Tech Company, working on specific technical projects.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Front End Development and be able to deliver secure, maintainable and scalable code solutions.

Responsibilities:

Participate and undertake code reviews and discuss design decisions

Develop React Components

Be a strong part of the team by getting involved and adding your ideas to help the team make informed decisions on the frontend architecture of the applications

Working on the Front End Development of the applications , improving the templating structure , styling and mark up

Implementing and maintaining best practises at all times

Assisting advancing design patterns

Following TDD , BDD and DDD principles

Skills Required:

A high level of Vanilla Javascript

Strong expertise of Front End Frameworks such as React , Vue or Angular

Strong knowledge of Node

Knowledge of Design Patterns in JS

Exp OOP DDD BDD TDD alongside SOLID and DRY principles

Strong knowledge of PHP with PSRs

Unit testing exp with JS frameworks such as Jest , Jasmine , Mocha etc and a good understanding of testing best practices

Previous expertise of working with high traffic/ volume websites

Agile experience

It would be a bonus to have any of the following experience:

Symfony

Docker

My SQL

Database optimisation
