“When we started planning UpRys, we knew we wanted to be more than just another service provider,” Stevens explains. “Our goal was to transform how organizations operate by offering flexible support that allows leaders to stay focused on their missions instead of day-to-day tasks. We wanted this kind of support to be accessible to nonprofits and small businesses that often struggle to afford it.”???

From this vision, the UpRys Foundation was born—a donor-advised fund managed by the Columbus Foundation, that enables UpRys and its clients to reinvest in the community by channeling resources, expertise, and compassion to help these organizations thrive.?

Through the UpRys Foundation, UpRys allocates a portion of its profits to support nonprofit organizations focused on essential social and environmental issues. With the support of the Columbus Foundation, UpRys distributes resources efficiently to nonprofits that align with its core values. This relationship ensures that UpRys' contributions are thoughtfully directed, amplifying the efforts of organizations dedicated to creating stronger, more resilient communities.??

Since its launch in 2022, the UpRys Foundation has distributed over $100,000 to more than 20 local nonprofit organizations, empowering them to continue their essential work in the community. “And we’re just getting started—the sky’s the limit,” says Stevens. “We are deeply grateful for the trust that our clients have placed in us, that allows us to give back through the UpRys Foundation to those nonprofit organizations that inspire us every day by the actions and impact they bring to our community.”?
