From vision to action: Our ESG highlights

At BDO Canada, we’re striving to bend the arc of possibility for our people, our planet, and our stakeholders.??

We are proud to share our newly released #ESG report, which documents our current achievements and future strategies toward environmental, social, and governance action. Our mission is to be a catalyst for transformation, striving for positive change that resonates not only for our firm, but for all the organizations we work with and the communities we touch.?

?? Some highlights of our ESG report:?

• Reached a representation of 44% women on our Executive Leadership Team, and 37.5% are from other equity-deserving groups.?
• Set measurable targets to achieve 50% gender parity and 30% representation from combined diversity pillars in senior roles.?
• Our people raised more than $250K for our #DriveAwayHunger food drive.?
• Committed to net-zero emissions by 2050 or sooner and signed on to the Net Zero Financial Service Providers Alliance to remain accountable.??
• Created a new Innovation & Change department dedicated to creating and operationalizing purposeful innovations.?
• Improved our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program to strengthen governance.?
• Enhanced our board competencies through external board representation.?
