From Valencia to Vilnius: Marco Roselló’s journey with Boozt

Meet Marco Rosello . As the name suggests he is Spanish, but he lives in Lithuania. And before settling in Vilnius he even had a stint in the United Kingdom.

Growing up in a small town outside of Valencia, Marco was deeply passionate about sports—an activity that shaped his competitive spirit. However, his competitiveness wasn't just about winning; it was about consistently giving his best effort.

During his academic years, Marco pursued a bachelor's degree while also embarking on an Erasmus exchange at Vilnius Technical University. It was during this time that a significant chapter of his life unfolded as he met his wife. After completing his education, Marco and his wife set their sights on improving their English, the language they primarily communicated in and moved to the UK.

After several rewarding years in England, Marco and his wife faced a new decision: Spain or Lithuania. Ultimately, they chose Vilnius because of the prospects of finding relevant employment as well as having relatives there.

With Marco back in Vilnius he soon landed a job at Boozt . Talking with Marco, it's clear that Boozt and the people in his office are very important to him.

- Boozt and this office are more than just work. I have some of my best friends here. It’s fun to come in and be challenged. It’s very dynamic and challenging, which I find rewarding, Marco says and continues;

- Boozt as a whole has a competitive advantage in the enormous drive that the C-level executives have. Having the founders still here and so active is a plus, along with their vast amount of experience and knowledge.

- In general, there’s a huge commitment from the whole team to keep pushing and improving, which I really admire.

We are never done

With so much already achieved, what's next for Marco?

- The same, but better. Providing an improved experience for our customers, continuing to grow our assortment, and developing the Department Store strategy. Furthermore, helping colleagues grow and having an even stronger team.

Marco has been with Boozt for 8,5 years and the Director of Web Development is hungry for more.
