From an unexpected place...
With my iphone, I pressed the 10-second timer to take my selfie... conquering one of the many peaks of the San Bruno mountain range here in San Francisco. True to my word about moving on and finding new challenges, and despite a gray and dreary afternoon, I hiked and climbed this part of the range.
Along the trail, I found a solitary bench on a clift, seemingly inviting all who pass by to sit, rest and beckon the magnificent views before them.... and on this bench is an unexpected lesson from Keith Braxton --- "Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is unknown. Make the most of every day as it comes.?" I do not know Mr. Braxton but thankful for sharing this wisdom in a most unexpected place... and indeed, as we go through our everydays, we should be grateful to our Creator and make the most of what life has to offer.
Entrance to the park and hiking trails...
The many flowers and plants on the park...
View of the city of San Francisco...
More peaks to conquer...
More trails to discover...
Making the most of what today has to offer...
