1) When did you join us and how did you come to IICM?
I joined IICM in June this year. I don’t remember when exactly I found the job posting, but I remember the letter I wrote and the very nice interviews that were after. I felt so comfortable with people from IICM, I can totally say that it was a perfect match
2) You are a comic artist - what do you mean by that?
I have academic background, as an artist, but I always wanted to try something new. And since childhood I was so into comic books and graphic novels, it’s such a unique genre and I can talk about this forever. So, I decided to attend a course on comic art and since then I had multiple projects in this industry afterward. This knowledge was also very helpful for some projects in IICM.
3) Can pictures say more than a thousand words?
Sure they can. I think now, in the era of technology we have so much information and not enough time or focus to read everything. Of course, it’s always more interesting to look at the picture, than to read a text. But I think that text is very important too, and the image will never replace it completely.

4) Why is design, i.e. visualizing topics in the form of pictures, an added value for IICM and especially for our clients?
In my opinion, if we want to show people something laborious but in an easy way, or we want to inspire a client’s team for future achievements, etc. this is the perfect solution.
Besides that, the process itself is an important part of visualization and when clients are involved in creating a picture, you know that the result will be amazing.
5) As a Ukrainian you speak English very well & have given IICM an international touch. What about your German language skills?
Oh, thank you! I still think that my English is not perfect, but that’s nice that it’s no problem for the team and clients to use in communication with me. My German is a little better since I started, but it’s still on a very elementary level (A1). But I’m trying my best to learn it.
6) You created a beautiful office map for the IICM team? How was it?
That was a project that was challenging and I can see it almost every day. It was a collaboration with Sabrina, our Lehel enthusiast. The idea was to depict the area around our office, so everyone can mark their favorite places, restaurants, etc. The appealing part is, that you can find some funny little details there and the most challenging part was the size. It is a very big piece. Also, I illustrated the stickers with which you can place paper sheets with your recommendation. It's nice to see your artwork whenever I come to the office and I'm glad that IICM team enjoys it too.
