From a teacher in a small town to an NLP and Corporate Trainer on the global stage why not you too?

When I was trying to advance in my career, being just another professional in the crowd seemed like an insurmountable obstacle. But through comprehensive upskilling and acquiring an international certification in Corporate and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), I managed to turn things around. I came to the realization one day I would end up like all my other colleagues, teaching in a small town in the rural valley of San Joaquin County in California, work as a teacher then in my mid-sixty’s retires and travel. But then the spark happened.

Here is what worked for me and brought about the change :

I first identified the gaps in my knowledge and the skills I needed to stand out. I looked dead in the mirror and did and forward pace of how my life would end. It saddened me as I thought at the time I would end up living a life of mediocrity. Never reaching my full potential and at the end in the afterlife my Higher Power would open the book of life and reveal what I was destined to be, if I had taken action, made a day in and day out commitment to stop making excuses and not let family and friends determine what I should be, but make the sacrifice to achieve what I thought I could be. Which was unimaginable in my environment. I simply refused to die in mediocrity without giving life my best shot.

Signing up for an internationally recognized certification like Corporate and NLP was the next logical step. The immediate effect was a marked improvement in my problem-solving and communication skills. I had financial challenges at the time and swallowed my pride, because sacrifice is a word many uses, but never do what it really takes to apply the work and grind to achieve . For me that was taking a second job as a waiter, to afford upscaling myself 7-days I worked giving up watching television, not attending social functions, and saying to hell with everything and everyone. I would not be stopped. I was hellbent, I conditioned myself daily looking in the mirror telling myself I would not fail.

Finally, I started applying my newly acquired skills to my job. The long-term effect was a noticeable improvement in my performance, effectiveness, and overall job satisfaction. I then started applying for global jobs as I used the NLP Time Matirx to forecast a future as an international trainer. I gave myself 1-year, in my daily conversations I would behave and program myself telling others that I would not be in Stockton in 1-year. Many questioned my decision saying I had a stable job, why not just buy a house be in amongst my friends and family and be happy what with my higher power had given me. But the spark was lit, and I smiled in their faces. Agreed to their statements maintaining rapport and after a long shift would come home and put in applications and use my network.

Thanks to these steps, I was able to differentiate myself in the crowded job market and enhance my professional capabilities. This experience taught me the critical importance of continuous learning and growth in today's ever-evolving professional landscape. I gave myself 1-year, but within 3 months I received a job offer to venture to the other side of the World working as a BPO Manager and American culture trainer in Mumbai, India. But I would not stay satisfied. After completing my contract, I then took upon clients as a consultant offering trainings to colleges and universities. And aligning myself with Conscious Solutions certification we shifted from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. To create a learning experience in Goa, where we now offer the Excel as a Corporate and NLP Training as our premium product, brining in clients from Dubai, Iran, Lebanon and Europe to study in the day and enjoy the beauty and events of Goa in the evening. I also secured a job at the #1 Health and Wellness center in Dubai Illuminations Health and Well Being Center in 2016, and regularly travel they are with NLP Master Trainer to co-train. Nothing is impossible!
