From Survival to Overflow: Embracing Your Worth and Building Consistent Income

I could sit here and tell you that you need systems to attract clients—and sure, that’s true. But let’s be transparent for a second: the real reason you’re not making consistent income isn’t just about missing tools or strategies. It’s deeper. It’s about how you see yourself and what you believe is possible for your life and business.

You started your business because you wanted to help people, right? And you’re good at that. You pour your heart into what you do. But somewhere along the way, you let the money part feel…optional. Like maybe it’s selfish to want to make more than “enough.” Or you’ve convinced yourself that earning big is for someone aelse—someone more accomplished, well known, or has more followers than you.

None of those are true! In 2017, I made my first 5 figures in my business with no followers, no website and an email list of less than 200 people!

Let me tell you the truth: consistent income isn’t just about how much work you put in. It’s about how much you’re willing to own your worth, your expertise, and your role as both a giver AND a receiver.

Here’s the thing no one says enough:

God didn’t just call you to work hard—He called you to flourish. To thrive. To prosper!! To create a life that reflects His abundance.

And if you’re stuck in survival mode, constantly worried about where the next client is coming from, you’re missing the bigger picture.

So, what’s standing in your way? It boils down to these three areas:

1. Client Attraction ??

Let’s be honest—are you hiding? Not physically, but emotionally? Are you holding back from showing up online or in person because you’re afraid of rejection or judgment? Are you staring your heart when you show up in person or online or throwing up generic quotes and business cards?

Your clients need to see you as the solution they’ve been praying for. That means being both visible AND positioning yourself as a resource!! It means stepping into rooms (virtual or real) where they are and letting them know you exist AND can solve their problem. Attraction isn’t about being pushy—it’s about being present AND positioned.

2. Sales Conversion ??

Here’s a hard truth: if you think sales is about convincing people, you’ll hate it. But sales isn’t about tricking someone into saying yes—it’s about inviting them into a transformation. It’s about deeply listening, understanding their pain, and showing them how your offer is the answer and creating an opportunity that builds trust and converts them to a paying client.

Selling is serving,and when you learn to do it strategically AND from a place of love at the same time, you’ll stop dreading the process and start welcoming it!

3. Success Mindset ??

Everything starts here.

If deep down, you believe people can’t afford you…

If you believe you’re not worth the rates you want to charge

If you believe that going after financial success is greedy or not Gods will… guess what?

You’ll keep finding ways to sabotage yourself every single time.

The good news is, those beliefs can be rewritten!

You can start seeing yourself as the kind of woman who doesn’t just deserve success but is called to it! Why? Because when you succeed, the ripple effect touches everyone around you. Your family. Your clients. Your community. Just like it did for Joseph in the Old Testament. His financial success put him in a position to save an entire nation of people from famine!

Don’t limit what God can do through because you don’t want to let go of habits and beliefs that aren’t serving you!

This isn’t about working harder. It’s about shifting the way you think, show up, AND serve. You didn’t start your business just to scrape by or to live with that nagging stress of having to use money from your job to pay for everything in your business!

It’s time to let the business pay for itself and create an overflow!
