They have been, in fact, since the 1940s. Not only are the classic Smarties gluten-free, but so is everything else made by the Smarties Candy Company. Unlike some of the other candies on this list, they not only state that their products are free of gluten but also that they are safe for those with Celiac disease. Through our $25,000 grant, we supported 142 inspiring projects that will make a lasting difference in classrooms across the country. Continuing this annual tradition, Smarties is proud to bringing its total contributions since stating the Smarties Think initiative in 2013 to $300,000. Because of this match offer, 112 dedicated teachers at 95 schools now have the materials they need to elevate learning for their students.
