From stanger to BFF

When you get your marketing right, something amazing happens.

Cold prospects who you’ve never met before will treat and greet you like long lost friends.

One of my clients experienced this recently when a prospect who he had never worked with, was convinced they were old friends.

He was certain they had met before and were on friendly terms, but the truth is they had never actually met.

I’ve experienced similar things in my business too.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ll speak to a Recruitment or Search Business Owner, and they'll treat me as if we’ve met before.

Opening up about their business and even personal life as if I was a long term friend.

It’s powerful stuff.

Another one of my clients, Alison, described this as going from “stranger to BFF.”

And this is something you should be trying to achieve in your business too.

Because people buy from people.

And 9 times out of 10…. The Recruitment or Search Firm who wins the business is the one with a better relationship with the potential client.

And the Recruitment or Search Firm Owners with little or no relationship often don’t even get to pitch.

If you want to dominate your market, stop losing out to the bigger firms and work with more of the best clients your sector has to offer. One of the key things you’ll have to do is turn strangers into BFF's.
