From Solution Manager of SAP Solution Manager to SAParett

First of all, thank you to the many who commented and send greeting because of my new role.

Here is what happened. SAP offered a great early retirement package which I gladly accepted. My last active day at SAP was July, 31st 2019. Since then, I have been on vacation and continue to be so until mid of January 2020. Isn’t this great? I am sure many of you are envious …

The SAP retirement package carries me until I officially retire. This means that I can do whatever I want without worrying about financials. Unbelievable, isn’t it?

Some of you may know that SAP had a team of satirists (all SAP employees) offering shows for many years. Unfortunately, they stopped a while ago mostly because some of them retired. 

As I have been an active supporter of local carnival events for many years and as I have A LOT of time to spend, I decided to revitalize this tradition starting in November 2019. I am sure you will like the title of my first program – “Happy without SAP?” The main topic of this program is how an early-retired SAP employee survives in the rough world outside of the SAP walls – without free lunch, tea, coffee and a company car.

The program is only available in German. Many puns simply cannot be translated properly into English. I fear you have to be native speaker for this.
