From software to skincare my wife's journey

I don’t usually promote myself or my family, but today, I want to share something meaningful on this platform that could help my wife, Ashley, grow her business.

In 2017, Ashley took a courageous step by leaving a successful career in software at IBM to follow her true passion—becoming a nurse. She had always been drawn to healthcare, and despite already being established in a different field, she made the difficult decision to start over. While studying full-time and navigating the challenges of returning to school, we welcomed our first child, Palmer, which added a whole new layer of commitment and responsibility to her journey.

After graduation, Ashley jumped straight into the deep end, working as an ICU nurse during the height of COVID-19. It was a testing time, yet she pushed through, gaining invaluable experience in an environment where dedication and quick thinking were paramount. From there, she transitioned into dermatology and later to a plastic surgery practice. It was in these fields that she found her niche—skincare, injectables, and aesthetic treatments. Her goal was not only to treat but to empower people to look and feel their best.

Ashley has always been passionate about skincare, and over the past seven years, she pursued every opportunity to learn from leading experts in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. She developed her expertise in skincare, neurotoxins, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and microneedling, perfecting her skills to offer clients safe, beautiful, and natural results. Through countless hours of training, hands-on experience, and mentorship, she’s honed her craft with an unshakeable commitment to excellence.

Today, I couldn’t be prouder to share that Ashley has launched her own business, Ashley Klein Injectables and Aesthetics, in Naperville IL. This step was a big one—starting her business meant transitioning from a stable path and stepping into entrepreneurship, an entirely new challenge. But in our family, we have a saying: “We do the hard things.” Ashley embodies that every single day. She has shown our kids, our family, and me what it means to pursue your dreams, work hard, and build something meaningful from the ground up.
