From Shy and Retiring Networker to Launch Meeting and Keynote Speaker

This year I have been asked to speak at networking meetings in London, Wales and as far north as Scotland. I've even be asked to speak at launch meetings when a team really needs everything to be on point and as best as it can be.

Although this is a massive honour... it’s not a mistake.

When I joined 4Networking I was a nervous social media guy. I was quite happy stood in the corner hiding on my phone. Jo told me I couldn't join if I continued this. I had to engage and get involved.

Now I am larger than life and well known in the network (and apparently a pretty good speaker too).

4Networking has given me a platform to test content, experiment with ideas and succeed in speaking, networking and business!

There are really no rules to this 4Networking malarkey apart from being you.

The best thing about this network is it allows you to be yourself and that’s when you truly find what works for you.

I remember getting this advice from the founder of 4Networking, Brad Burton, in one of my first ever 121 appointments at a meeting in Coventry.

When we re-branded he told me to where a cowboy hat to business shows and answer the phone with "howdy" and talk in wild west tone where I could.

I've not looked back and 4Networking as been the fuel for my fire.
