Despite my adherence to conventional medical advice, relief was fleeting. It was in this fog of desperation that I turned to meditation, a practice I had skeptically dismissed as too esoteric for someone grounded in the scientific method. Yet, driven by the relentless pursuit of relief, I embarked on what was to be a transformative journey.
Initially, my skepticism stood as a formidable barrier. The idea that sitting quietly, focusing on my breath, could quell the storms in my head seemed far-fetched. But desperation breeds openness, and I found myself diving into the practice with an earnestness born from my desire for relief. Day by day, session by session, I began to notice subtle shifts.
