From Seedlings to Prosperity: Kaweri Coffee Plantation Farm's Journey to Success

In 2000, Kaweri Coffee Plantation Farm found in Mubende district in the central part of Uganda,embarked on a transformative journey of large-scale coffee growing. With the help of Sprinktech, the plantation introduced state-of-the-art Mist-foggers irrigation system, revolutionizing its coffee production. Today, the 1,700-hectare farm stands as a shining example of the power of irrigation in agriculture.

Sprinktech provided the Solution-Mist-Foggers Irrigation System

Before the introduction of the Foggers irrigation system, the farm relied on manual watering, employing over 30 people daily to work on the farm that was so expensive for the farm. However, with the installation of micro jets, the labor requirement reduced significantly, freeing up to 29 workers to focus on other tasks. The irrigation system ensures uniform water supply to the plants, resulting in improved growth for the coffee seedlings nursery and reduced on the labor costs.
