A breakthrough in long distance learning
TIPS for Good Management reached another significant milestone recently when they received an enquiry from Saint-Petersburg in Russia!
The client in question had found them listed as a centre for the Chartered Management Institute on their website. Their requirement was for a CMI Level 6 Qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership for two employees based in Poland. Thanks to TIPS slick system and well-planned process they were able to offer a licence to thrill and satisfy their client’s needs.
TIPS immediately followed up the client request by advising them of the learning content their willing candidates could choose from. The client decided that a Level 6 Diploma was the most appropriate for their requirements and TIPS set to work creating distance learning, for their eyes only!
Firstly, they created a unique and bespoke online ‘learning library’ designed specifically with the candidates in mind. This allows them to log in and access the study materials required to complete their chosen qualification. This has been further tailored by signposting to relevant content to aid completion of their assignments. Once the candidates were registered, the next step was to setup a Skype video call with the learners live to Poland. This served as an ‘Induction’ session and to familiarise them with the CMI and the TIPS study support.
TIPS is currently supporting 10 learners through their qualification online, with many more studying for a qualification after completing management and development training workshops.
This really is a unique way to study virtually, with the support of a tutor live online to guide learners all the way through their learning journey. The possibilities are endless as to who TIPS can reach out to help almost anywhere in the world! That prospect is very exciting indeed. Today Russia, tomorrow? Well, even the world is not enough!
