The recent escalation in the Russia and Iran links present an opportunity for the U.S. and China to grow closer. One has the growing suspicion that Russia has become tired of being China's errand boy and, as a result, has grown closer to Iran. There seems to be a sub-division in the China-Russia-Iran alliance. China has been annoyed at Russia's overtures to North Korea. Do these developments offer an opening for American diplomacy?
