From Panels to Tech
It’s been five months since I joined PureSpectrum, leaving behind my role at one of the world’s largest research agencies and panel providers.
Friends and family asked “why are you leaving a secure job at a large and established company to take such a big risk?” These were indeed the words ringing in my ears as I sat down at my desk on day one.
However, it’s been with much relief that it’s all worked out well so far. Not only is the company the most focused on automation and creating efficiencies that I’ve seen, the technology we have is simply unsurpassed. Still, we are constantly innovating and leaving our competitors in the shade.
As for the platform, we have a running joke here that switching a project to live is a lot like drinking from a fire hydrant. Whenever I see clients launching projects, I watch in astonishment as the completes fill up at a rate like nothing I’ve seen before in over a decade in the research industry.
When I tell clients what to expect they tend to respond with something like “Ok, that's fine George, but what is the data quality like?” I respond that we have an extensive array of API connected supply partners and each one of these partners have to uphold ESOMAR and local MR standards. Before we integrate them onto the platform, they go through rigorous quality checks. With the introduction of PureScore, a proprietary respondent rating system developed by our COO Mark Menig we can further assure high quality respondents.
PureSpectrum is very much still the new kid on the block, but the startup is now increasingly becoming the upstart. We have big plans and I am really looking forward to growing with this company.

“I’ve been using PureSpectrum for a few months. I have run about 7 projects getting 1,000 completes in a few hours at a CPI that I set myself. Recently a target group that I thought might not even complete was turned in remarkable speed. I don’t see a reason to use any other tool for sampling now”.
