I've been a little uncomfortable sharing this…..
A few years ago, I was drowning in endless tasks, and my stress level went through the roof. I had a full-time job that I didn't like and also decided to start a side hustle.
Every night, I went to bed exhausted, yet unsettled by my incomplete tasks. My to-do list was always, forever, never-ending. I could never complete what I set out to do. Apart from my day to day to-do list, I had a list of all these things that I wanted to accomplish, but I couldn't see a path towards reaching said goals.
That started my productivity and time management journey. I read a lot of books, did a lot of research, listened to a lot of productivity gurus, and at some point, that also overwhelmed me. I was diagnosed with HBP about a year and a half later. I can't say for certain, but I do believe that the constant stress about my to-do list contributed to that.
Then, I found the secret to mastering my time and eliminating stress. Learning time management, among other things, not only brought peace into my life but also empowered me to reach my goals without being stressed, overwhelmed, or burned out.
