MA Foundation: What’s been going on?

It’s been a busy few months for the MA Foundation, so here’s a brief overview of our latest activities.

The Dartford Office hosted a bake sale which raised?£400.56 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of our colleague, Julia Ricketts. Thanks to everyone who contributed either with food or donations!

The Euro sweepstake and prediction challenge has so far raised a brilliant £720, with £360 going to the Free Kicks Foundation?and the balance going to our worthy winners.

To mark the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, each office hosted the Food Olympics, raising money for a charity which supports Para Athletes. If you'd like to donate, you can do so here.?

Lastly, The Comms Business Awards hosted another successful silent auction raising £5,740.50 in total, with proceeds going to NSPCC . Well done to the Comms Business team!??

What’s coming up?

We will be bringing back the Macmillan Coffee morning in September so get your baking hats on in preparation!?

GEN: What’s been going on?

Since we became co-chairs in February, GEN has covered a number of vital topics in our meetings including a moving and personal discussion on mental health and wellbeing, a look at how can MAG can support women in the company to become senior leaders, maternity and paternity leave, childcare solutions and ways we can ensure everyone has a good work/life balance. As we work with HR to push our projects forward, it would be great to hear what’s important to you in regards to gender equality at MAG.

What’s coming up?

Our next meeting is on September 11th and we’d love for you to join and please do let us know if there’s anything you think we should have on our agenda this year. -?

Pride:?What’s been going on?

To mark Pride Month, MA Pride organised a fantastic picnic that brought our office community together in a celebration of inclusivity. The event was a huge success, featuring non-alcoholic prosecco, a variety of soft drinks, and plenty of pizza and treats for all attendees.?

The picnic was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, laughter, and connection, highlighted by delicious food and delightful company.

So much going on, and the fact we work in a company where everyone's efforts, identities and ideas are celebrated and supported is truly inspiring. I'm proud to be part of our Mark Allen Networks.
