From our family to yours

As I reflect on 2021, it was a year that continued to challenge the world in so many ways, but also highlighted the strength of human spirit and ingenuity.

Now, at Christmas eve, and with the new year approaching, the final days of December provide a privileged moment of reflection. I found my own inspiration in a sculpture called “Love.” Ukrainian artist, Alexander Milov, challenged Burning Man’s festivalgoers in 2015 with his thought-provoking piece of art…

At first glance, figures appear trapped under the weight of conflict, disillusionment, disagreement, and disappointment. Then, day turns to dusk, dusk to night, and a different story unfolds. The children within shine – eclipsing conflict through the brightness of their inner glow. Conversation engaged. Healing begun.

That is my wish for each of you... As the story of your coming year unfolds, release your inner child at every turn. At every challenge. “Purity and sincerity” can bring us together in extraordinary ways. Offering the power to transform conflict into harmony, disillusionment into possibility, disagreement into opportunity, and disappointment into triumph.
