From Nonprofit Organization Leaders to Leading the Way for Many Nonprofits

Twenty-three years ago, when Brad and Kathy Lambert made the decision to start a nonprofit organization called Connections to Success, they started with a dream and zero financial backing. They?grew?to over forty-four million dollars?in funding?for their organization, with 60% of those funds being raised in the last six to seven years before turning over the reigns to new leadership.

Kathy and Brad knew that they would be able to help other nonprofit organizations find funding that would ultimately allow those organizations to grow and increase their social impact. So, armed with the knowledge they obtained through their experience, they?created KBL Impact Partners with a mission to empower small-to-medium sized organizations that are looking to grow and scale their impact.

It was at this time that Brad and Kathy met?Karen. It was?"Divine?Order,"?as Kathy calls it. While they had the knowledge to help secure funding and create a wonderful culture in an organization, this was the first time that they set out to really coach other organizations?to do this. Brad and Kathy found that after working with Karen,?in just four months, they had a structure to start?their first cohort, the Frame Up for Funding Program,?and secure a six-figure income.

When asking Kathy and Brad what the results were of owning their own business and filling their first cohort within 4 months of launching, they had this to say, "It’s been such a shift for?us?that we’re so excited about.??We love to help people and now we’re getting help organizations that help people — and we’re having fun.??It doesn’t feel like work.?We love seeing the response from people who are in our training.?The other important part is that we’re not working as hard as we used to.?Our goal is to work twenty to twenty-five hours per week and make a?multi-six-figure income which would give us time to enjoy a lot of the things that we missed over the past 23 years. It’s a completely different lifestyle and we’re loving it."
