From Midjourney to Style3D

For those who do not know, Midjourney is a research laboratory geared toward expanding the imaginative capabilities of human beings.
It works like this: the user writes a text called "Prompt" transmitting a thought or idea to Midjourney and it executes it by generating an image. How? An infinite amount of data feeds the artificial intelligence behind Midjourney. It would be long to explain.
What is it for?
To inspire! There is no denying that it is a tool to complement your creativity. Of course, if all you have in your head is Batman eating ice cream at the beach with Superman...
I have been using it intensively for a few weeks now, and looking for inspiration for my work I wrote this prompt:
Very realistic Depth of field photograph of sport fashion week, catwalk single model, light blue and dark orange hyper puff clothing, Ray Tracing Ambient Occlusion, Anti-Aliasing, FXAA, TXAA, RTX, SSAO, Shaders, OpenGL-Shaders, GLSL-Shaders, Post Processing, Post-Production, Cel Shading, Tone Mapping, CGI, VFX, SFX, elegant, hyper realistic, super detailed, photos taken by canon, incredibly detailed, sharpen details, professional lighting, ray tracing, lightroom gallery
I know it might not sound very elegant as a Prompt but at that moment I was making a thousand attempts. In any case it worked, here are the images produced.
Not being able to do anything else, just and only images, I left them aside for a few days until I saw them again and decided to choose one and model it in 3D.
First modeling in CLO
Over the years I created a library of iconic products that help me not to have to start from scratch every time. So I opened the ICONIC APPAREL files I needed and made the first changes.

Here is the result.
Final step in Style3D
Over the past few weeks I've really gotten into Style3D, so I exported the DXF files from the CLO models and remodeled, yes you heard me right, remodeled everything in Style3D. Why? I wanted to see how much faster I could build a product with software I've only known for a few weeks. Fast, I went really fast.
After that I added trims, some lights and here is the first result in Style3D. Keep in mind that this is only a few hours of work cut out on a Sunday.?
As I studied the product created by Midjourney better, I decided to apply some changes. Perhaps I am still a bit jealous of how good the AI is, but the "errors" it generates are obvious. So besides permanently removing the very fashionable but technically superfluous second hoodie, all other changes were applied to correct some errors and simplify production.

2 年I am afraid that in a few years 3D design software in the textile industry will no longer have much use. In particular in the viualization of products and for compositing. A technological revolution that will submerge many professions.
