We are proud to celebrate Arthur Whipplemendoza , CAE ’s Senior Manager of Supply Operations and Continuous Improvement in Arlington, TX. As a United States Marine Corps veteran with 20 years of service, Art?brings experience, leadership, and camaraderie to the team.
Transitioning from a military career to a corporate environment can be challenging, however Art has navigated this journey with remarkable success.

Starting as the Material Manager for the CAE Arlington site four years ago, Art took ownership of his career with the support of CAE. As he honed his skillsets his responsibilities expanded to core locations including Broken Arrow, Tampa, and Government Property, leading him to his current position.
A Glimpse into the Supply Operations and Continuous Improvement Department
Art tells us, that as a Leader at CAE, one of the most rewarding aspects of his role is working with an amazing group of professionals. “The team is always ready to support, no matter the size of the mission. This collaborative spirit is a cornerstone of our success as we work to revolutionize customer support by aligning processes and procedures.”
The Supply Operations and Continuous Improvement department is a dynamic and integral part of CAE. Comprising of three functional organizations—Material Planning, Subcontract Program Management, and Continuous Improvement—the department ensures the smooth flow of materials and services. The team proactively engage with various functional organizations to resolve any risks that arise, while also facilitating and supporting process improvement initiatives.
What sets this department apart is its extensive involvement in every aspect of the business, delivering a level of engagement that ensures they support every program, large and small, within the organization.

“Our department is engaged in every aspect of the business from working with finance, contracting, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, subcontracting, CLS, program management and material management, ” says Art.

For Art, the most fulfilling part of his job is contributing to the progress and growth of the business. “Being a part of pushing progress and growth within the business. Having the ability to work with as many organizations as we do, we can connect multiple functions to work on improving processes,” says Art. ??One team accomplishment Art is particularly proud of is their collaboration with various Finance departments to enhance non-labor and material budgeting led by Javier Tovar , Candace Jefcoat and the Business Finance Managers.
