From Local Hero to One of Australia’s Best

Nestled along the Brisbane River in Bulimba, one of our cherished subscribers is Revel Brewing Company founded by our mate Jay Neven in 2016. What began as a passion project has blossomed into one of Australia's premier craft breweries.

Where it all began

Jay's brewing journey traces back to his childhood, where he crafted beer alongside his father. The convergence of his love for hosting gatherings and crafting woodfire pizzas proved pivotal when his mum suggested, "Why not start a business that brings joy to people?"

Taking this advice to heart, Jay officially founded Revel Brewing in 2017, revitalising brewing in Bulimba while honouring its rich history.

"Products like Synnch help us stay innovative while providing a structured approach for reflection and assessment. Fundamentally, it allows us to have a single point for records. It has also allowed us to have a process to follow throughout the entire year that is repeatable and that everyone in my team understands."
