From Liverpool to Peru

In 2019, I came across a number of people whilst networking who inspired me both personally and professionally. I gained so much from their support, their experience and knowledge and I wanted to go back to those people and find out a glimpse of their life to share with others.

The first of the ‘5 Minutes With…’ is with the absolute Liverpool legend that is Dave Verburg.

Dave is massively connected in Liverpool and is quite a character.

Dave, amongst many things, is a Director, Speaker, Coach, Fundraiser, Master NLP Practitioner and networker extraordinaire!

Tell us your elevator pitch Dave.

I support business owners create the lifestyle they wanted when they first started their business. I do this by helping them to truly harness the power of their network by shortening their sales cycle finding them their top clients who stay longer and spend more. 

What was your biggest challenge in 2019?

Developing the new Asentiv Business Community programmes. It was important to make sure that we stayed true to what Asentiv is about and made sure that we can help the business community grow and develop the best way we can.

What are you most proud of from 2019?

Building the Asentiv Business Community programmes! Personally, completing a four-day trek to Machu Pichu in Peru.

What can we expect from you in 2020?

Great question. A higher standard of support. I’ve made 2020 the year I raise my game even higher than ever. There are lots of people I can help out there and I intend to do just that.

What is your go to piece of advice in business?

Have a great team around you. Have people who will be on your CASE. They will challenge you, hold you accountable, support you and enhance your chances of success.

What is your favourite quote?

Successful people do what needs to be done when it needs to be done whether they feel like doing it or not.
