Author Miriam McGuirk spoke recently at a Women in Business lunch. She starts by describing how in 1997 she collapsed one evening after work. She was subsequently diagnosed with a severe form of ME ( Myalgic Encephalopathy) and shortly afterwards, Fybromyalgia - both of which she lives with and manages to this day.
