A Personal Share
I have a Jacuzzi in my backyard that's been very neglected. I don't use it so it sits empty. In fact, It’s become an eyesore—sun-beaten and squirrel-damaged with shredded pieces hanging off the side. I'm embarrased to even share this. Every time I looked at it, I thought repairing it would involve lots of time, effort and money. So, the truth is, I did nothing.
But a couple days ago something changed.
I got curious.
I wondered if maybe there might just be an easy, affordable solution. I opened my mind to possibilities and searched online. To my surprise, there were $40 covers custom sized and designed for my Jacuzzi.
Problem solved! It arrived within two days and looks fabulous.
The Lesson: From Helplessness to Curiosity
Why do I share this?

Often we face challenges and just assume they're too hard, too expensive, or too time-consuming to solve. So, we settle or do nothing.
Can you relate?
I'm curious. Do you have areas (like my jacuzzi) that you're ignoring or settling for for less than what you truly desire?
Are there things that irritate you, areas where you feel "comfortably uncomfortable." yet do nothing?
The Power of Curiosity
The solution was at hand!
All I had to do was shift to a place of curiosity.
In business, curiosity is golden. To solve relevant problems and innovate, we must continously ask ourselves, "What's possible?"
In the case of my jacuzzi it only took minutes to solve the problem. This was after months of being stuck,

Curiosity unlocked the solution.
It was my assumptions that it would be hard, expensive, and time-consuming that kept me stuck. Not actually taking aciton and solving the problem.
Simply being curious, asking what's possible led to an easy, affordable fix.
Let’s Get Curious
Practical Example
Henry Ford said,
"If you think you can, or you think you can't, either way, you're right."
Our assumptions shape our reality.
When we observe possibilities with curiosity, we turn potential into reality.
