From Lab Coats to Leaderboards

A few years ago, if you’d asked me where I saw myself, I’d have confidently said working in a biopharma lab, surrounded by beakers and formulas. After all, I was a biochemical engineering graduate, diving into the complexities of the biopharma world. But life had other plans.

I spent 2.5 years in that industry, learning everything I could. Yet, something didn’t feel right. I found myself craving a new challenge, a different kind of problem. Enter: mobile performance marketing—a field I never imagined I’d end up in.

Making the Leap

Switching industries wasn’t easy. I went from a world of scientific precision to one driven by creativity, data, and constant change. The learning curve was steep, and I sometimes felt like I was starting from scratch. But here’s what I’ve learned: every skill you pick up along the way is valuable. My analytical mindset from the lab became my greatest asset in this new role.

Finding My Groove

Now, I manage marketing campaigns for mobile games, working with budgets that once seemed intimidating. I’ve helped apps grow, optimized performance, and discovered a passion for data-driven marketing. Every day, I’m learning something new, which keeps me going.
