From idea to AI app: How anyone in your team can build AI-driven workflows
The AI transformation won’t happen in board rooms or in earnings calls. It’ll happen at the hands of a support agent eager to reimagine customer service; a sales manager looking to uplevel their team’s domain expertise; a business ops lead looking to automate their RFP responses. Until now, building a tool to accelerate these processes would have required the ability to code. And it’d have taken weeks, if not months of work as stakeholders lobbied to get it added to the roadmap, built project plans, and coordinated with engineers to test and iterate on the app. This process is onerous for engineers, too, who are stuck navigating business requirements, configuring UIs, and maintaining a multitude of critical business tools.
Now, anyone, regardless of their technical skills, can build AI-driven workflows. Generative AI not only makes collaboration easier between developers and business stakeholders, but also makes app building easier for engineers. The right platform will compress the time to value for generative AI because the people with the most context on a problem are also the ones that can create AI workflows to solve it. They can transform work and amplify their impact faster than they could before — directly honing their apps and improving its performance with written instructions and intuitive tools. Once perfected, these apps can be scaled across teams, or integrated deeply into tech stacks with engineering support. The options are endless.

LinkedIn gem: Build a RAG-powered AI knowledge assistant in minutes — no code necessary
RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) helps AI give better, more accurate answers by using real, up-to-date information instead of relying only on what it was trained on. Matt Sobel , who leads Writer Partnerships, recently shared how anyone can make a RAG app in less than 5 minutes. This app lets users ask detailed, analytical questions about long documents like financial reports.?
The “Iron Man suit” of AI and human creativity: A 40-year perspective from Vizient’s Steve Waldon
A recent hackathon at Vizient, Inc revealed just how important it is to democratize innovation in an organization, and how generative AI is making that possible. Half the people in the hackathon were from various parts of the business. The winner of the hackathon wasn’t even a software engineer. Listen to our talk with Stephen Waldon , the head of AI optimization at Vizient. He’s been immersed in the world of artificial intelligence since 1985, and boy does he have stories to tell and wisdom to share about the nature of algorithms and human creativity. Today, he and his team are creating ways to take champions from different teams and give them the “Iron Man suit” of AI.?
