Sidd’s career began modestly, with a job as a marketing executive in Trichy for a mere Rs 1,200 per month. This role, where he promoted computer education to students, laid the foundation for his marketing and communication skills. From there, he moved on to various positions in business development, eventually landing roles at major US firms like CEI and Systel, where he was responsible for hiring IT professionals from around the world.

During this time, Sidd Ahmed noticed the lack of opportunities for talented youth from his hometown. This realization planted the seed for what would become his entrepreneurial venture.

The Birth of VDart

In 2007, after years of experience in the staffing industry, Sidd decided to take a bold leap. With just $500 in hand, he founded @VDart in Alpharetta, Atlanta. His mission was clear: to provide opportunities for young talent, especially from smaller towns like Trichy, and make a mark in the global IT staffing market.

What started as a five-person team in a small office on the terrace of his family home in Trichy has now grown into a global business, employing hundreds of people across multiple locations. VDart’s clientele includes prestigious names like Accenture, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Coca-Cola, and General Electric, a testament to the company's success.

Weathering the Storm

Like many businesses, VDart faced immense challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Business came to a standstill, but Sidd made a conscious decision not to lay off a single employee. Instead, he paid full salaries, which earned him the unwavering loyalty of his team and strengthened VDart’s company culture.
