From the Horse's Mouth

In business we are all busy, very busy. We essentially run from one fire to the next one and as soon as we smother it an additional one bursts into preeminence from an unsuspected quarter.

Wisdom (real wisdom, not unrelated facts and emotional quotes) is a godsend. However, we don’t have time. How are we supposed to read tens of business books or listen to dozens of podcasts? Most of us can’t and won’t. Plus, most business publications have two or three important concepts and to stretch them to book length lots of unnecessary “filler” is added. Who needs this?

The idea behind the series From the Horse’s Mouth is precisely to distill pertinent wisdom that comes directly from CEOs or other very senior corporate leaders. It might not be elegant, but it is certainly genuine. Hey, this is reality; this is not guru world.

We are writing this for you: young (or not so young) corporate rising stars that want to reach the top of an organization. We want to help you because business is one of the strongest and most positive forces in the world to improve the condition of humanity.

One disclaimer before we begin: nothing in business is copy paste. What works for one person might not work for another or, by the same token, what works in one organization might not work in another one. You must do your homework. These things are hard, and this is, precisely, why you are a rising star while not everybody else is.
