The Department of Tourism, Goa is adopting a multifaceted approach to stimulate economic growth and development, centered on forging strategic alliances through strategic partnerships in the form of Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) culminated through various national as well international events. These initiatives aim to enhance the tourism experience and showcase Goa’s unique offerings to a broader audience.

Through innovative initiatives and strategic collaborations, the aim is to transform Goa into a premiere travel destination that appeals to tourists seeking authentic, immersive, and diverse experiences. Through various collaborations all entities are poised to embark on various initiatives aimed at bolstering the infrastructure, facilities, and promotional activities associated with various tourism entities.

The Department of Tourism showcases Goa’s regenerative tourism approach at national and International events, highlighting the various initiatives taken by the Department. At the pavilion, visitors discover Goa’s commitment to promote and preserve its ecology, cultural heritage and spiritual sites, hinterland exploration, heritage restoration and spiritual tourism. This takes the unseen side of Goa to a broader audience, attracting quality tourists, contributing to Goa's economy and ultimately leading to the state's holistic development.

Department is revolutionizing Goa’s tourism sector through partnerships like MakeMyTrip, Airbnb, MasterCard, Ironman, All India Institute of Ayurveda(AIIA), Udo Aviation Private Limited(Fly 91), Mastercard, Agoda, to name a few. These partnerships aim to portray Goa’s diverse offering and attractions to its global network of travelers, while striving on the path of restructuring the tourism plethora of Goa by showcasing Goa’s lesser known treasures, its cultures, its cultural heritage and culinary traditions.

The partnership with AirBnb aims at boosting hinterland tourism in Goa and supporting the development of a homestay tourism ecosystem in Goa. The effort also provides a platform to the entrepreneurs especially women entrepreneurs to get an opportunity to manage homestay.

The collaboration of the Department with MasterCard will facilitate unique travel experience and help in the promotion of the region as the top-tier destination.

The association with All India Institute of Ayurveda (AYUSH) is set to significantly upgrade Goa’s wellness infrastructure and facilities, thereby boosting wellness tourism, Ayurveda and Yoga and providing enhanced experience for both domestic and international tourists visiting the state.

The initiative encourages sustainable tourism practices, minimizing the ecological footprints of tourism, while simultaneously boosting tourist’s arrivals and generating substantial revenue through strategic partnerships and events thereby significantly contributing to Goa’s economic prosperity and development.
