From Heartbreak to Healing: My personal journey of loss, growth and transformation
I used to get up at 4 or 5 AM regularly, but after hearing the news about my grandmother’s illness, I lost my routine.
My meditation, yoga, and daily practices fell away.
This happened a year ago.
My grandmother got sick and I wanted to see her.
The day we were scheduled to fly, my sister called me early in the morning to tell me that my grandmother had already passed away.
On that call I asked my sister to touch her ears for me one last time. It’s strange, but I have this thing, almost a small ritual, I’ve always been obsessed with touching the ears of my family members. It’s my way of feeling connected to them.
I still got on that flight and returned to Baku, even though I didn’t get the chance to see my grandma one last time.
After that, I felt lost. Unmotivated. Disappointed in myself and life.
I had big dreams of taking my family, especially my grandmother, on incredible adventures. I wanted take her to my future house in the South of France, dine at Michelin-starred restaurants, travel on my yacht, and fly on my private jet. But most importantly, I wanted to give her the life she deserved, a life of joy and ease after everything that she had done for me.
She wasn’t just my grandma; she raised me, endured hardships for me, and gave everything she had. I wanted to see her light up with excitement and pride, but now, I won’t get that chance.
I didn’t make it in time.
I didn’t become wealthy and successful while she was still here, and that was a powerful lesson of surrender and letting go.
Losing my grandmother drained my inspiration. Of course, I know I still need to build this life for myself, my wife, our future kids, and my family.
But a part of me wanted it so badly for her. This experience taught me about non attachment and the importance of letting go.
If I didn’t believe so strongly in the existence of the Soul and life beyond death, I would have struggled way more with her loss.
But fortunately, several years ago, I embarked on a spiritual path that deepened my understanding of the soul's eternal nature and the continuation of life beyond the physical body.
Through this journey, I found peace and answers to many of life’s big questions. I read countless books, meditated daily and explored various spiritual practices. Along the way, I formed new habits and made important discoveries.
I studied neuroscience, quantum physics and energy. As I connected more deeply with my intuition, I began to find clarity. I even wrote two books and started composing music. The inner work unlocked parts of me I hadn’t known were there.
My wife, Firuza Sultanova Firuza, and I created a roadmap based on our discoveries to make transformation easier for others.
