From hardworking hands to heartfelt thanks - CBF serves to stop hunger!

That joy and happiness that you get when your own friends become successful in serving in the professional social work community.

Sam Isaac and Amrita Madonna Dcruze along with their hardworking team, my close buddies from Madras School of Social Work (MSSW) are doing a tremendous job for the society under their own NGO, Cross Blood Foundation (CBF).

Cross Blood Foundation's mission is to serve the children living with Cancer and Thalassemia. They also organise Blood donation camps for companies and communities.

But they have social work in their heart, so they can never stop with that alone right ? 

Thus, they have been serving the needy and marginalized during any natural calamities or disaster along with their main mission.

Currently because of the Covid-19 situation in Tamil Nadu, they have been associated with their fellow NGO community and social work teams who are trying to reach out daily wage workers to provide them with their essential needs.

Till now they have reached 600 families, 2400 individuals to provide them with an essential kit which includes Rice, Dal, Wheat, Sugar, Salt, Oil, Soap and Sanitary napkins. It costs around Rs 500/- per kit and they individually reach out to these people while taking proper precautions and directions from health officials.

They are open for anyone looking to contribute in any kind of donation and they will be more than happy to serve the ones in need on their behalf.
