Introduction

This Special Edition marks a monumental step for us as we launch our very first product! Designed with you in mind, it’s here to transform not only the way you Build cloud Infrastructure but also the way you think of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The Story Behind the Product

The origins of FGTC trace back to my graduation year in college, during the preparation for my End-of-Study project. Specializing in the DevOps and Cloud field, I set out to design a private cloud and provision its infrastructure using Terraform.

It was during this project that a fundamental question emerged:

Why do we need to build everything from scratch every time we provision a new infrastructure?

This realization highlighted a gap in the workflow—there was no existing framework or template that could simplify the process with just a little customization. The lack of reusable, structured solutions meant spending excessive time and effort reinventing the wheel for each deployment.

This question sparked the idea for FGTC (abbreviation for 'From the Ground To the Cloud'): a project founded to produce highly structured, easy-to-manage IaC templates that create efficient, reliable, and scalable infrastructure, which bring consistency to cloud operations.

Introducing FGTC 1, an IaC-Template-Solution for AI applications, enabling faster deployments, optimizing costs, enhancing scalability, ensuring security best practices and compliance requirements.
