From graduate to audit leader: reflecting on our grad program
Audit Office of New South Wales
Our insights inform and challenge government to improve outcomes for citizens
Quentin is an audit leader at the Audit Office of New South Wales. He studied a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wales, studying accounting and business law.
‘After I graduated, the Audit Office supported me to obtain my Chartered Accountants qualifications,’ Quentin remembers.
Not only was Quentin supported to gain his professional accounting qualifications with study leave, mentors and other support, he speaks highly of the flexibility at the Audit Office.
‘The staff here are great, the managers and directors are great. I didn’t expect the level of flexibility that we have, and how strongly the directors and executives support flexible working,’ Quentin says.
‘The understanding that everyone has a different life, different commitments… they support us to work flexibly so that we can achieve that as well.’
Applications for the Audit Office of NSW 2024 graduate program close midnight, Sunday 16 April.
