From the Garage to the European Blockchain Convention: My Journey into Web3 and the Future of MyPoPCoRN

Do you remember your first step into the crypto world?

Of course you do. It’s one of those unforgettable moments, like your wedding day, the birth of your child, or where you were when the world stood still on 9/11. For me, it was a sunny day in June 2019, and that day changed the course of my life.

It all started innocently enough, like most crypto journeys do—with a connection through a friend and a speculative investment in a token. I thought I’d make some quick profits. And I did. But what I didn’t expect was the rollercoaster that followed. The emotional highs and lows, the addiction to learning more, and, ultimately, the realization that this wasn’t just about speculative gains.

It was about something far bigger—a revolutionary technology that could, and would, change the world. That’s when I knew: blockchain wasn’t just a passing trend; it was my future.

Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the world of blockchain, diving into protocols, mining, DeFi, NFTs, ICOs, the Metaverse, and everything in between. For over five years, I’ve been learning, unlearning, and evolving. Eventually, I formalized my passion by earning my Certified Blockchain Consultant degree at the European Tech School

But understanding the technology wasn’t enough. I needed to build something. My goal was clear: create a project that solves real problems and adds value to the blockchain community.

The journey has been long, but after pitching my project at the European Blockchain Convention , something shifted. For the first time, I didn’t feel like a spectator or a speculator—I felt like a creator. I was adding my brick to this ever-growing construction. I was finally part of the blockchain family.

Now, as I look ahead, I’m more committed than ever. Over the next five years, I want to take MyPoPCoRN to new heights, transforming it into the SurveyMonkey of Web3. My vision is to revolutionize how feedback is gathered, secured, and rewarded at blockchain events. The first step will be collaborating directly with these events to build a strong solution that can be scaled across the entire blockchain industry. By leveraging technologies like Rollups, Ethereum Swarm , Fair Data Society, and DataFund, I aim to empower users to manage, control, and even monetize their data.
