Hello and happy Sunday,
Welcome to another. YOU GOT THIS! Newsletter.
“Every workplace has that one person who seems to make your life harder. Know the feeling?”
The truth is, many companies have people in roles that just don’t fit. I’m sure you can think of a few colleagues who regularly test your patience.
Maybe it’s the narcissist who’s always boasting and causing drama, the hothead who yells and disrupts everyone’s peace, the slowpoke who moves at a snail’s pace, holding back progress, or the micromanager who hovers over you, nitpicking every little detail.
If you’ve thought these personalities are just unavoidable headaches you have to endure, think again. There are ways to deal with these challenging characters effectively. The key is not to take their behavior personally—stay calm, and don’t let them rattle you. Practice listening all the way through, even when it’s tough, and know when to take action to set boundaries.
Sometimes, it’s about acceptance and knowing what you can and cannot change. Be honest with yourself about the situation, and don’t shy away from learning how others handle similar challenges. Reflecting on your own reactions can provide valuable insights, too. Direct conversations can be necessary, and if the situation doesn’t improve, it might be worth considering a change, whether it’s in your approach or even in your job.
In today’s edition of my newsletter, I′ll write about these three topics:
?? My latest learning: Time to Take Charge of Your Career
?? Career Inspiration: Building a Career with Purpose This Autumn
?? Female Leadership: Embracing Authentic Leadership
I am always happy to receive feedback, suggestions for improvement and ideas for new newsletters. What would you like to read about here?
Stay courageous!
Best Regards, Katharina
?? My latest learning: Time to Take Charge of Your Career
?“Did your summer break make you realize something has to change in your career? Now’s the time to make it happen!”
Maybe the summer pause made it clear to you—something needs to change. You can’t keep going on like this in your career! My motto? Go all in for the next four months and see what you can achieve.
For me, this means planning my next steps in coaching, with the goal of empowering women and leaders to reach their goals with confidence and ease—professionally, personally, and in their relationships. I’m also ramping up my visibility as a coach, creating new routines, and exploring new platforms.
You can do the same. Use the next four months to really push forward and tackle that next career step you’ve been thinking about. Between now and Christmas, there’s enough time to get clear on what you want (and what you don’t), polish your application materials, and start applying for roles that truly match your potential. If you want to tick off that next career move or gain clarity on your career by the end of the year, start now. Many companies start posting more job openings as the year ends.
So, it’s time to GET READY ?????
This month, I’m offering two 1:1 coaching spots. If you’ve been thinking about working with me to achieve your career goals, now is the time to act. These spots usually fill up quickly.
If you’re ready to make a move in your career, reply to this email, and we’ll set up a discovery session to get started.
?? Career Inspiration: Building a Career with Purpose This Autumn
?“As nature sheds its leaves, what are you ready to let go of in your career to make room for growth?”
Autumn is here, and it’s the perfect time to reflect on what’s holding us back and what we truly want to pursue. Just like nature sheds what it no longer needs, this season invites us to do the same—to let go of what doesn’t serve us and plant the seeds for what we truly want in our careers. From these seeds, with time and care, we’ll see growth, blossoming into the careers we’ve always dreamed of.
Did you know that a successful career is built on successful choices? And the most successful choices come from a place of clarity and purpose. They happen when we know why we’re making them, believe in them, and feel brave enough to step outside our comfort zone. The best career moves often come from a deep desire to pursue something that truly excites us.
But too often, I see people making career decisions out of fear or because they feel they have no other choice. This can be especially true for women, who may feel stuck due to financial reasons, a lack of confidence, or simply not knowing how to move forward.
In my coaching, we start by exploring your values, passions, and achievements. We dive deep into what’s holding you back and develop strategies to overcome these barriers, freeing you to move forward. You’ll explore your goals, validate your options, and start taking steps towards a career that truly fulfills you. It’s about turning your “Plan B” into your “Plan A”!
If you feel lost, stuck, or overwhelmed, remember, you’re not alone. Take the lead in your career now—stop suffering in silence. Book a FREE 30-minute clarity session with me, and let’s start creating the career you’ve always wanted. Book a 30 min FREE Coaching session

?? Female Leadership: Embracing Authentic Leadership
“Authentic leadership isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the secret sauce to building trust, driving engagement, and achieving success in your organization.”

When leaders are true to themselves, it can transform the workplace culture, foster psychological safety, and build resilience in the face of challenges. But how do we balance being genuine, showing vulnerability, maintaining professionalism, and being the reliable leaders our teams need?
Here are 5 common mistakes to avoid as you step into your authentic leadership style:
1. Good Self-Awareness is Not Enough—External Awareness Matters
Authentic leadership starts with self-awareness, understanding your own strengths, weaknesses, and values. However, it’s not just about how you see yourself; it’s also about how others see you. Does your internal self-awareness align with your team’s perception of you? Are your behaviors consistent? Regularly seek feedback and observe the impact you have on those you lead to ensure your authenticity is resonating positively.
2. Trust Isn’t Built on Overcommitment
Building trust is about being transparent, consistent, and ethical. Some leaders try to build trust by over-committing, but this often backfires. Don’t stretch yourself too thin by making promises you can’t keep. Trust is earned through small, consistent actions that align with your words.
3. Vulnerability, But With the Right Boundaries
While vulnerability is a powerful leadership tool, it’s important to be mindful of boundaries. Authenticity shouldn’t be an excuse for oversharing or inappropriate transparency. Share stories and insights that are meaningful and relevant, keeping in mind why they are valuable for your team to hear.
4. Balancing Transparency and Privacy
Transparency is key to building trust, but it must be balanced with respect for privacy. Don’t share more than is necessary or reveal confidential information. Be thoughtful about when and how much to share, especially during uncertain times. Protecting your team from information that’s still unfolding can be a part of responsible leadership.
5. Consistency in Values and Actions
Authentic leaders must consistently demonstrate their values through their actions. It’s not enough to talk about integrity, empathy, or dedication—you need to live these values daily. Consistency between what you say and what you do builds credibility and trust. If your actions don’t align with your stated values, you risk losing the trust and respect of your team.
Authentic leadership is a continuous journey of self-reflection and growth. By being genuine, consistent, and mindful, you can build deeper trust and engagement with your team.
What does authentic leadership mean to you? Do you find it challenging to show vulnerability in your role?
