In the heart of Bihar, just 50 kilometers from Patna, lies a remarkable story of transformation—a journey from football fields to thriving careers. The Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital is not just a hub for eye care; it’s a powerhouse for empowering underprivileged girls. Through an extraordinary program called “Football to Eyeball,” this institution is reshaping futures, blending education, football, and professional training to turn dreams into reality.

A Unique Blend of Sports and Education

Since 2009, 725 rural girls have become self-reliant through this initiative. These girls are not only excelling as optometrists and technicians but also proving their mettle on the football field. Out of them, 15 have already represented Bihar at the national level, with Sonia Rai even captaining the state women's football team.
