From Feeling Empty to Feeling Alive Again

A few years ago, I remembered looking at my life and realizing I had a blueprint of what a happy life should look like and then some, yet I also wondered why I felt so darn lonely.?
?
The truth is that having what I thought was everything didn't make me happy. In fact, during that time, I remember feeling more disconnected and depressed than I ever felt.?
?
If you seek outside yourself for more, it brings on more emptiness.?
?
While having things is fantastic, it can be problematic if you are not grounded and not aligned with your true essence.?
?
Your ego may have a field day, but your soul will long to be heard because a part of you is secretly dying inside, calling out to have a voice. It feels like a void because parts of you are hidden and don't feel safe to surface. Until we recognize we have been hiding parts of ourselves, it causes us not to feel whole.
?
We all know deep inside when something is off; our bodies and intuition know, yet we ignore the subtle hints of nudges because we believe that having more will set us free.?
?
Once I have this__________ (fill in the blank), I will feel good enough, and then I can relax.?
?
?
It depends on what the "more" is that you are seeking.?
?
If you have yet to heal and deal with your stuff, the more stuff will only be a temporary fix of dopamine.?
?
?
On the other hand, when you heal your wounds, you explore more of yourself, allowing you to heal and love parts of yourself you refused to look at and once rejected.?
?
Wholeness means loving all parts as they surface during your journey back to self.?
?
Living an authentic life brings us the most joy and aliveness. Yet before we get there, we must be willing to be honest with ourselves.?
?
Most people are scared to open Pandora's box and face what could be painful. I get it; who wants that? Yet you will find a treasure waiting for you to discover, a path back to feeling wholeness.?
?
It can be challenging to face the dragon, I know!?
?
Yet what is more challenging is waking up every morning feeling lonely and unfulfilled in life.?
?
The dragon symbolizes the shadow parts we are scared to see because they once caused us pain long ago.?
?
We can see them in others all the time, yet it can be triggering when it's still a part of us we are unwilling to accept.?
?
We are all mirrors of each other on this journey, which is extraordinary.?
?
As you heal, you will notice the mirrors more often brought into your reality represent the versions of your healed parts mirroring back your process.?
?
It's a liberating experience when you start to unravel all the extra things you accumulated over the years that are blocking you from experiencing a life of love and connection.?
?
Healed people attract healed people.?
?
If you want more connection and aliveness, you must be willing to connect with yourself first.?
?
I spoke to two clients yesterday that I started working with a few months ago. When I first met them, they were deep in their stuff, and life was not so great for them. Today, they feel aliveness again and at the top of their game in their personal and professional lives.
?
It makes my heart smile and gives hope to others when they see their progress.?
?
Cheers to feeling alive again!?
?
I'm here if you need me. xo?
