Mrs. Quéré was one of the 2 female scientists awarded with Honourable Doctorate at the ceremony because of their exceptional contributions to science, policy and society in the context of climate change.

??Corine Le Quéré is a French-Canadian professor of climate change, but also a policy advisor to the climate advisory bodies of #france???? and #canada???? , but also an advisor to the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change), co-chair of the Global Carbon Footprint Initiative. She said that for the first time in human history, global society must learn to live within the constraints of nature.

??Sonia Seneviratne - with an inspiring speech reminded us that no one is too small to make a #difference and the actions we take today as adults will determine whether we can look in the mirror at the end of our lives.

??Reaching out to people like this makes me feel humbled by the challenges we face, but also fills me with #belief that if we work #together we can achieve them.?

In the St. Martin Cathedral in Utrecht was exceptionally cold - as a statement the organizers have decided to turn off the heating system in the cathedral - to remind us that we all need to #act and sacrifices of our comfort will be needed.

The Scale of Cooperation

?Last week I had the amazing opportunity to meet the creator of the Scale of Cooperation Pieter Schoe. It was an inspiring and educational experience for which I am grateful and thankful.

??I expressed my willingness and we agreed to go through the training and translate The Rock into English in the coming months. This will allow us to use it in our context, in teams, companies and why not in political parties.?

?What is the Scale? Generally speaking, the Collaboration Scale is a roadmap. ???

??Based on the idea that there are three different "worlds" in which people. coexist:

??Struggling World, in which goals are not aligned, irritation plays an important role, and people often experience resistance.

??World of Avoidance, in which people are "every man for himself". They avoid conflict, but they also avoid solutions.?

?? World of Collaboration means sharing, valuing and acknowledging each other, achieving a common goal, leveraging each other's qualities, learning from and with each other, and finding win-win solutions together.

??Developing translation and implementing it is a collective process. If you are interested in learning more and/or being part of a focus group to find together the most appropriate words for the Bulgarian translation so that we can use it in the Bulgarian context - send me a private message.?
