I am excited to share that I joined Redactive.ai last month as their VP of Sales. Yes, you read that right, I am trading my adventurous days of cycling and meal prep for the fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping world of generative AI.

You might ask why I would give up the stress free experience I’ve enjoyed over the past 8 months for a job. Well, the answer is simple: OPPORTUNITY. When Andrew, Alex, Lucas and the team at Redactive.ai shared this opportunity with me, it was like they handed me a golden ticket, minus the chocolate factory tour. The potential here is nothing short of revolutionary and I couldn't resist the call to be a part of something groundbreaking.

What makes this transition even more remarkable is that it brings me full circle, back to my roots. Long before corporate boardrooms and executive titles, I started my career as the first sales rep at a tech start-up. Those early days were filled with the excitement of innovation, the thrill of closing deals and the camaraderie of a tight-knit team (not really knowing what we were doing) all working toward a common goal. Joining Redactive.ai feels like returning to those exhilarating beginnings, only now, with a few more years of experience under my belt.

During my career I have been provided opportunities to navigate the complex terrains of sales, technology and corporate strategy. Those opportunities, underwritten by different sponsors, allowed me to work in multiple locations; Australia, Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. These experiences have forged in me the skills to understand diverse customer needs, build strong relationships across cultures and drive business growth on a global scale. For those who championed me, thanks!

At Redactive.ai, I aim to leverage my past experiences to help shape our sales strategy, foster amazing client relationships and drive our brand/market presence. But it's not just about what I bring to the table; it's about the incredible team I'm joining. Redactive.ai is a powerhouse of innovation, led by visionaries passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI. Together, we're going to “Play our part in the Responsible use of AI within the world”.

Leaving retirement is no small feat. I had to trade my trusty bike and recipe books for a laptop and my afternoon meal planning for sales meetings.
