FROM DREAMS TO DATA

Once, in a cozy town called Dindigul, there lived a young girl filled with aspirations. She was determined to make the most out of her life. Every morning, she would wake up full of dreams, eager to embark on another day of adventure after completing her SSLC. She had a lot of confusion in choosing her group based on her parents' suggestion; she took biology as her major. Her parents had a dream to see her as a doctor, and she also tried to pass the NEET, but unfortunately, she was unable to clear it. However, she always believed that failure is the stepping stone to success, and she started to explore many things. She realized there were a lot of emerging technologies growing, and finally, she found she had more interest in technologies, so she turned her career into IT. This turn was not her destination; it was just the beginning of her new life.

Yes, that girl is me, Priyadharshini. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree at SNS Institutions in SNSCE. I also began my college life like every student, thrilled to meet my new friends. During my first year, I didn't know anything about technologies and programming languages. Sometimes, I thought about why these subjects were too hard. After participating in some intra-college events, I found joy in learning about computers and coding, so I started to learn some programming languages like C and Python.

Days passed, and one day, one of my friends asked me what my area of interest was, and I didn't know how to answer. But I wasn't sure which area to pick. So, I started to explore many different fields like web development, data science, etc., and I did my second-year internship under the data science domain. After gaining some knowledge in this domain, I started working on some real-time projects like house price prediction, email spam detection, and breast cancer prediction. By following these projects, I found that I needed to improve my problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to achieve my dream.

At the end of my fifth semester, I participated in an aptitude test conducted by MINDFULAI for their placement training program. To my delight, I secured an opportunity under the data science domain. This moment marked a significant turning point in my life. MINDFULAI became the place where I transformed all my theoretical knowledge into practical experience. I committed myself to practicing Python and SQL diligently. Over time, I developed the ability to think logically and solve problems effectively. This training program had a profound impact on me, providing clarity in a specific domain. My long-term aspiration is to secure a position at a product-based company, and I am determined to work towards achieving this goal. Thank you!
