From Doubts to Dreams

How is the week treating you so far?

You know, one thing I've noticed about a lot of us starting out, is how filled we are with doubts and inhibitions. We struggle with confidence over our small wins, feel embarrassed about our modest beginnings, and often hesitate to share our stories. When someone asks about our business, we shy away, thinking, "I've really done nothing noteworthy."

I'll let you in on my own little beginning. When I kicked off my agency, Cbetter, it was just me and my partner in a tiny office. And when I say tiny, I mean really small – just 150 square feet of hope and dreams.

Funny story – once, a girl came in for an interview with her dad. After seeing our setup, her dad was pretty much, "No way you're working here." It was just two guys in a small space, after all. But despite that, the first client we got on board was NASSCOM. Can you believe it?

From there, it was all about growth. We built a team of 30 incredible people and started working with clients from all over the globe.

So, why am I telling you this? Because if I had given into that doubt, none of this would've happened. Every entrepreneur, every founder, starts somewhere. And more often than not, it's with that same feeling of, "Can I really do this?"

Here's the thing – it's okay to doubt. It's natural. But what's not okay is letting it stop you. If we all gave into our fears, there'd be no OYO, no Airbnb. Imagine that!

Your idea, your dream, it's got a place in this world. And sure, starting out might feel like you're jumping into the deep end. But that's where the magic happens. That's where you learn, grow, and find out just how much you're capable of.

So next time you're feeling unsure, remember my little office and where we ended up. It's all about taking that first step, even when it's scary. Especially when it's scary.
